I know for a fact that there are many more decent tradespeople out there than bad… guys and girls who are simply trying to run a professional business and turn a profit. Tradies often don’t know what kind of project they’re showing up to – it could be a job that takes five minutes or three hours. Yet most customers want the crew there ‘five minutes ago’, gone in 10 minutes and to barely charge for the privilege.
So I thought I’d redress things just a bit. I’ve written a song supporting Tradies that’s on my new album and recently turned up to a few construction sites at the end of the working day to hand out a few cold beers… just to make the lads feel appreciated.
